Great wooded-walking trail right in the city! Enjoy bird watching, feeding the ducks, a playground, or just sitting by the river on a bench for some “zen” time! One of our favourites for walking our dog, and for finding some peace from the hustle and bustle!

A beautiful part of the East Coast Trail just a 7-8 minute drive from our place. Views of the ocean, breathtaking rock formations, and trickling rivers. A great place for some fresh ocean air and exercise. One of our favourites.

Wonderful grocery store for local produce! They offer delicious hot meals, salad, sushi, and a sandwich bar at meal times. There are also a lot of locally made frozen pre-prepared meals, and a lovely flower shop. Also in the same building, support local even more and check out Arthur James clothing store!

Metro Bus Public Transit
There are two public transit bus stops near our place- one is on Gleneyre Street, next to Lawton’s parking lot and across from the neighbourhood mailboxes. The other is a little up Birchwynd street (around #28 Birchwynd Street). Don’t forget that masks are now mandatory on the bus.
