Shogamoc Suspension Bridge -part of The Trans Canada Trail- is nearby on route 102. Very interesting.
A very short drive from the cottage (1.5 km) brings you to the Pokiok Road- gateway for ATV trails, hiking, Ducks Unlimited Wetlands Project, and the famous Pokiok Nature Park and Stream.
29 km west on Route 102 discover the Maliseet Trail and Hayes Falls. Allow 1.5 hours for hike.
Return to Nackawic and enjoy numerous highlights such as playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, Rick Squires Memorial Field, sheltered picnic sites, International Garden with River Trail located behind the Worlds Largest Axe. The scenic 2km Nackawic Trail entrance is located at the far end of the river trail pathway.
