historic working harbour, sightseeing and fishing trips can be taken from here along with adventure sports such as surfing, Coasteering (a must for people looking to have fun!), paddle boarding and lots more. Vertical descents are located in the harbour for all watersport activities! the harbour restaurant is a must visit, get there early as you cannot book and gets busy 😉

this place has around 20 original arcade machines from the 80's, from Pac-man to space invaders, proper nostalgia for those of a certain age..... it's surprising just how simple yet difficult a lot of these games are! perfect pastime for a rainy day 😉 games are 50p a go.

About 5 miles from Newquay this huge beach (at low tide) is a beautiful place. great surf, coastal walks, easily one of the most iconic places in Cornwall. Tom's favourite place to surf 😉 The north end is always quiet, be sure to check the tides though

One of the most beautiful places in Cornwall, be sure to get there early on sunny days as the car park can be full before 9am. you can surf, swim in the river, catch a ferry over to Pentire, just a stunning place.

Possibly the best and leas well known of Newquay beaches, it's a challenge to get to but well worth it. at low tide there are lots of caves, rock pools, and incredible views, great surf and a bit of isolation from the crowds. the steps down are VERY steep, there are NO lifeguards, and there have been recent rockfalls. Porth island is well worth a walk to... 👌

huge (at low tide) family beach around 20 minutes walk from the apartment. the 'Mermaid' pub on the beach is a local favourite. Porth doesn't really puck up any swell apart from on a Spring low tide, when this occurs it can have one of the best waves in Newquay (don't tell anyone!) Also be sure to have a wander along Porth Island, you can walk under the bridge to whipsiderry at low tide if you're feeling adventurous!
