Eureka Springs it’s only 45 minutes from the house and I definitely recommend it for a day trip. It's known for the preserved Victorian buildings of its Historic District, such as the Palace Bath House, Basin Park Hotel and Crescent Hotel, all built around the city's natural springs. I recommend parking somewhere close to the Eureka Springs transit. Then you have two options, taking the trolley that makes many stops or making your way up through the town, exploring and strolling, towards the Crescent Hotel. The Crescent Hotel has two restaurants on site. One is a rooftop pizzeria and one more formal dining room in a historical setting. Pricing is affordable! In the back of the hotel, are life-size games, swings, often live music and a small outdoor bar and a food truck. On the way there, I would make a stop at Chelsea‘s corner Café, which is also a bar that will place you back in time!
