Not as far as the map, I had limited addresses to choose from. 39th St. is a hopping place for nightlife, with bars and kitschy restaurants. Just about a 15 minute walk (if that far) from the house, to the North. Try the Jazz bar and restaurant for authentic Cajun cuisine.

I've repeated this many times. If you only have one place to take a visitor to KC for a day, take them to the Country Club Plaza. This is the iconic KC landmark location. Did you know that KC is the city of fountains? Only Rome has more fountains than KC. This beautiful KC treasure is only a 20 minute walk from the house.
