They cook adaptations of American brunches in all organic local traditional Irish products. It is a great family place. My favourite is the homemade porridge. Fair warning, it can be crowded in the week-ends but it's a lovely place with a terrasse. It is a bit more gourmet than other places so it depends on your budget.

A well-hidden secret of the Dubliners. You get to it through the Daintree Wedding Stationary, into a secluded yard planted with bamboos and mosaic decorated walls. Great homemade cakes and porridges in vintage china. Great if you want something close and away from the tourists

Not only is it a landmark of the history of Dublin, it's architectural quirks are delighful to learn about. If you're not that much into culture, then just go to see where Bram Stoker was working when he wrote Dracula and where a lot of scenes from the Penny Dreadful series were shot.

Both great for history and walking in nature, to get the feel of the real, pre-Celtic Tiger years of Ireland. It is a very appeasing and meditative walk and surprisingly merry for a burial ground.
