Sightseeing
Located at the upper station of the gondola cable car, strangely not visible on Google maps or on TA. Excellent view and friendly staff. Limited/season opening hours.

Moose Rock Carving at Brennholtet
Go to the parking at the end of Einerveien. Clear footpath and stairway down to the rock-carving. There are set benches above and you can enjoy a great view over the Ofotfjord.
The oldest trace of people on the Narvik peninsula is the rock carving at Brennholtet, which is centrally located in Narvik. The quarry shows the outline of a moose and just above it is a gap of about three meters, it may indicate that there has been a hunting place here for moose and that the animals were chased out of the crush, the archaeologists interpret the age of this carving to be 5000 years old.
