This Hawker Stall in the Maxwell Food Court (which is famous on its own) is rated in the Michelin Guide. Definitely great for cheap wonderful eats but expect a bit of a line. Of course you should order the Chicken Rice.

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice
1 Kadayanallur StThis Hawker Stall in the Maxwell Food Court (which is famous on its own) is rated in the Michelin Guide. Definitely great for cheap wonderful eats but expect a bit of a line. Of course you should order the Chicken Rice.
Amazing brunch at this place although on the weekend the wait can sometimes be a little bit long. One of the best places to get a coffee at any time of day.

Located just behind the apartment building and great for happy hour drinks. You can sit outside and enjoy Duxton Hill among the old shop houses and where there is no passing traffic.

This is a pub style bar and although there is a pretty good restaurant inside too the main reason to go here is the roof deck which gives a nice view of the city. It is also one of the few places open on a Sunday evening for drinks.

This place is a little controversial. They make all of their own alcohol, so expect something a little different. It regularly is placed in the lists of the best bars in the world - not your ordinary bar but definitely worth trying. Also, it is a speakeasy so very difficult to find ... If you are standing next to Oxwell & Co you are in the right spot but you have to find the random graffiti and descend into the basement (if you are having trouble just ask at Oxwell & Co)

At this grocery store you can find all of the basics that you made need. It is missing some "western style" assortments but it is open 24 hours and you can find enough to make dinner. They also have a reasonable assortment of wine here at fairly reasonable prices (for Singapore).

Getting Around
This is the closest MRT stop to my apartment. It can feed you to almost anywhere is Singapore fairly easily. Only a 3-4 min walk away.
