Expect a big crowd and line for pizza to match after bars close. Don't make the rookie mistake and wait in what appears to be a single outside line either. Go inside and get in one of the multiple short lines that form inside (be ready to hear the rookies complain you are cutting line - you are not).

Belly up to the side of the deck with cocktails, seafood, or food from the food court. Kids welcome here to dine at a picic table, but it can be boysterous. Families lean toward the lower non-deck area with kids.

Because a mudslide or other frosty beverage never hurt anyone on a hot summer day. It's a smaller bar, but there is a scene there - at night too. A fun drinking crowd. Oh there is a Thai restaurant connected inside called Johnny Thai Bistro, if you get hungry.

Town harbor beaches are lovely and less crowded than the ocean beaches. The harbor beaches are easy to miss as most are accessible via launch ramps and are nothing but a path. The closest harbor beach to the condo (one we enjoy very much) is just a short walk down the hill from our condo (2 blocks to Commercial St). You can access it via the ramp at the end of Atlantic Avenue where it intersects at Commercial St or at low tide go down Good Templar Place and walk across the deck at Flyers Boat Rentals. We like the end nearest to Flyers best.

Provincetown Harbor
Town harbor beaches are lovely and less crowded than the ocean beaches. The harbor beaches are easy to miss as most are accessible via launch ramps and are nothing but a path. The closest harbor beach to the condo (one we enjoy very much) is just a short walk down the hill from our condo (2 blocks to Commercial St). You can access it via the ramp at the end of Atlantic Avenue where it intersects at Commercial St or at low tide go down Good Templar Place and walk across the deck at Flyers Boat Rentals. We like the end nearest to Flyers best.
Cute little beach off the boat ramp at the West End lot, nice view to Long Point. At low tide lots of beach on both sides of the ramp, but as tide comes in the beach only remains on the right side of the boat ramp.

A very nice harbor beach next to a free to the public pool a the Provincetown Inn (no charge for chairs and towels but food and drinks can only be purchased from the establishment). Enter the beach at the path between Delft Haven (7 Commercial) and the Provincetown Inn (1 Commercia). You can also enter via the Provincetown Inn itself and come out through the pool area. Many people spend part of the day at the beach and the other at the pool. It is very popular at the pool and can get crowded in peak season, so get there early if you want a lounge chair.
