This is a very large and deep glacial lake known for its clarity and chilly temperature. There is a beach with parking on the northern end of the lake. There are hiking trails nearby that offer breath-taking views of the lake.

There are approximately 40 free-standing charcoal grills, nearly 80 picnic tables, rental boats and canoes, and lots of parking space.
