Head out on Forest Service Rd. for 2.5 miles with Newberry Creek running beside you. Trail changes to foot path at 2.5 miles and winds it's way all the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Old growth forest and large rock formations keep you company along the way!
Level of Difficulty: moderate to strenuous (the last 2.5 miles).
Length: 10 miles out and back - you don't have to hike the entire way to enjoy the beauty of the Pisgah National Forest.
