Great bar where german-inspired food meets the alternative rock scene. It's the diametric opposite of posh inner-city cocktail bars, and all the more refreshing for it! Go there for a lunch or early dinner in the beergarden (Vegan friendly!), or listen to rock/metal in the evening. Occasionally has live concerts or DJs.

One of the many places in Nørrebro to experience a real "Bodega". Among the nicer places where hipsters go hand-in-hand with locals. This partly-smoky place has a danish-billard table and a huge selection of bottled beers!

The epitomic hipster-bodega. Often very crowded, make sure to come early to enjoy a beer or cocktail. A nice place, and just a stone-throw away from the apartment.

A beach, right in the city! Clear water and amenities like toilets and a kiosk make this beach a favourite for a quick dip after work or a longer visit on the weekend. Best to reach with a bike. Tip: When looking at the water, go left (north) for a while (5min) and follow the trail alongside the water - there is a smaller wooden bathing platform a bit across the bay, and it's usually much more quiet!
