First trans-Atlantic communication happened here. A challenging hike and lots of sub hikes around. Shakespear by the Sea performs a show here in the summer. Great visitors centre and cafe. Check out the Burma Road hike, halfway up the hill near the pond. Built by US Servicemen in the 1950. Also if you come in the spring, look for the eagles nest.
