A little drive from Stowe - but this place is SO WORTH IT. Besides the totally unique basement carved out of rock setting - the food is INCREDIBLE and the restaurant was recently rated as one of the 'BEST IN THE WORLD'.

NOTE: You will need to make reservations well in advance.
The food is fantastic and the Trapp Family beers are delish, but the location is what makes it worth it! Have a flight to find your favorite - and theres plenty of souvenirs at their little shop on the way out of the building. FUN SPOT! Cruise by the Trapp Family Lodge just up the road after to see the most magical spot in Stowe where the Von Trapp family settled.

Lots of spots to sit and take in nature or have a picnic. Head up to the top of the Notch in the Summer for a hike up to Sterling Pond - a gorgeous little lake at the top of Big Spruce Peak. GORGEOUS

Just a quick jaunt from the parking lot gets you to a 100+ foot waterfall. Its a pretty stroll along a river to the falls with some very obvious beaver pond work on the left. Lots of nature happening here!
