A necessity to the daily life of all Canadians (or maybe just me :P). We are fortunate to have a location just minutes from High Falls Bay. It is located just outside of town (next to the Walmart I recommeneded for groceries) making it perfect for a 10 minute early morning coffee & bagel run.

One of my favourite restaurants in Bracebridge. Great food and a unique ambience. The restaurant has a "luxury log cabin" feel, and is located in downtown Bracebridge along the historic Manitoba Road. You can get a patio table overlooking the historic street and take in the scenic views of the town and the restaurant while enjoying a great meal.

Sightseeing
The historic downtown portion of Manitoba street (at the intersection of Manitoba st and Taylor rd) is a great location for taking in the historic scenery and culture of Bracebridge. The street is filled with unique shops and boutiques, as well as old historic buildings and architecture.

Second to the waterfalls on our location of course, Bracebridge and the surrounding area are home to several other waterfalls worth checking out. Bracebridge Falls can be found downtown on Manitoba st. The falls are partially obstructed by a dam but still an impressive sight. Travel across the bridge to reach a small picnic area with a direct view of the falls.

Muskoka Bear Wear is a great place to pick up some "cottage country fashion". Their clothing features their signature bear paw, and they usually carry both summer and winter attire. A have more than a few pieces in my wardrobe :)

There are a few typical grocery stores all clustered in the same area of town near this grocery store. I shop most often at the Independent so I have listed it here. This grocery store also has an on-site gas station making it a good stop of all essentials.

Great all in one stop for personal items, hygiene products, and medical supplies. Can be found at the major intersection of Manitoba st. and Monck st.

This Walmart is the closest to our location at High Falls Bay, located just outside of town, so it is also easier to get to (no traffic). Classic, has everything, prices always average. This Walmart is also a "Supercentre" so it has food, and a McDonald's inside.

200 Ranch MarketThis Walmart is the closest to our location at High Falls Bay, located just outside of town, so it is also easier to get to (no traffic). Classic, has everything, prices always average. This Walmart is also a "Supercentre" so it has food, and a McDonald's inside.

Santa's village is a top destination for the region. Great location for a day trip with kids (speaking personally from my own childhood). Just 15 minutes away from our location. Some features are the rides, arcade, mini golf course, large kid's playground, and treetop trekking.

Some features are the rides, arcade, mini golf course, large kid's playground, and treetop trekking.
Lady Muskoka offers scenic boat tours along the Muskoka River and Lake Muskoka. Excellent way to take in the sights of Lake Muskoka. Personal highlights for me as an architecture nerd are seeing all the different cottages and sprawling mansions speckling the shores.
