There are two 49th Parallels in Chemainus. Both are on Oak Street, just on opposite ends. The old smaller one (closest, but limited groceries, by the ferry to Thetis) and the NEW IMPROVED one, up by the traffic circle on Chemainus Road. (still within walking distance, but has everything you would need for groceries, including bakery and deli)
