An absolutely stunning beach. Perfect for walks, surfing, swimming, paddle boarding, relaxing, fishing, walking around the rocks, and there's a beautiful lagoon at the northern end for the little ones. Not much shade though, so take an umbrella if its hot. Horse-riding (beach rides) also available at the Shoalhaven Heads section of the beach.

This is a fantastic coastal walk, past the paddocks to the left and the amazing coastal scenery and rock cliffs on the right, winding up and around and down our majestic coastline. Take some water with you, perhaps a picnic. You can easily walk some of the way and turn back or if you're feeling energetic, organise to take 2 cars and leave one at Kiama, so you can pile into that car and go back to Gerringong to get the other one. Alternatively, perhaps you could catch the train or organise for someone to pick you up.

Lovely little coastal town, just a 10 minute drive north of Berry. Perfect for swimming (flags are up in summer at the southern end), surfing, walking and there's a great footpath for bike-riding and walking along too. Fish and chips halfway along the beach, opposite the footpath.
Walk up the very steep hill from the carpark at the north end to the top for amazing views (or you can drive to the top of the hill where the cemetery is and also walk along to the view (just follow the people walking with their dogs).
On the other side of the headland is Boat Harbour (another great spot for swimming with a beautiful rock pool) and protected by the winds from most directions except the east and south east. Glorious in the mornings.
