This new addition to downtown has all the ingredients that make up a classy bar: high ceilings, low lighting, an opulent fireplace mantle, and cocktail ingredients you'll demurely have to ask what they are. Each drink has it's own style of glassware, garnishes are overflowing, straws are made of metal - did I mention this place is fancy? But they still serve fries. Fancy fries...which you should order.

Super fun and friendly tasting room mostly specializing in dry reds and whites. Go for a tasting and grab a charcuterie board from the cafe next door. When you're done, head up the street bit to the distillery for a tasting of their Applejack and other fantastic spirits.

The Hudson Amtrak station is a 20 minute walk or a short $5 cab ride to the house. Stick to the trains that aren't coming from Canada to avoid delays. Remember to sit on the west side of the train for the best views of the Hudson River.
