In 2013, Coconut’s Fish Cafe was a part of CNN and Travel & Leisure’s list of “Top 10 Places to Eat Like a Local.” The list wasn’t a top 10 list for Maui or even Hawaii. It was a top 10 list for the whole United States! Coconut’s Fish Cafe in Kihei features a simple selection of tasty and reasonably priced seafood menu items. The restaurant is very low key. You order at the counter and seating is community style. Great MahiMahi, award-winning fish tacos, salads. They also serve local beers. Located a short walk away to the north, we go here every time we visit!

Gyms - Located in Kihei
The beach is conveniently located right across the street from the condo, around 300 steps from our condo door. In regards to local gyms, I found the following on a google search (you would need to drive there or run about 14 blocks - Maui Banyan located at 2575 S Kihei Road)
There are other locations that provide yoga and other exercises - please google your activity interest in Kihei, HI.

Organic, natural foods along with a good variety of produce and items for enjoying at the condo. Closest food store and within a 10 minute walk. Otherwise drive further north on Kihei Road to Foodland for larger store (and very good poki) or Safeway on Piilani Highway.
