A German Restaurant known for their beers on tap. The food is good but be prepared to pay close to city prices. Also be prepared for the waitstaff to be dressed in traditional German garb. It's a super popular place for climbers -- it has great beer and is close to the "gunks" climbing area.

In the fall you can pick organically grown apples and in the summer months you can pick berries. Great for kids too but not annoying for those without kids.

Great for biking, hiking and swimming. There's a great trail that brings you to a lake called Lake Awosting. It's a beautiful lake with a stone slab bottom so no mushy lake bottom. There's a closer lake to the parking area that's more of a family beach area. It's postage size but the water is beautiful. There are a lot of options for beautiful hikes- short or long.

Great for babies and kids. They have a graduated pool that allows for very shallow dips as well as full on swimming. There isn’t much shade- so be aware if you’re not a sun lover.
