I love this 24-hour, high-end cocktail bar and restaurant on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower in London’s financial district. Come for sunrise and gawp at the bankers nursing Champagne, mixing with hipsters from nearby Shoreditch who aren’t ready to call it a night yet. Or just gaze out of the huge windows at one of the best views in the city. The cocktails. This is home to some of the most innovative bartenders around. They’re famous for doing things like gin and tonic sorbets served using dry ice at the table.

The area around Brick Lane was once associated the scene of the crime for the Jack the Ripper murders. Nowadays, it's extremely popular with London’s edgy and artistic crowd, featuring galleries, restaurants, markets and festivals throughout the year. My favourite part is the curry though! The best in the city! Be sure to go there on Sunday.
