An institution in J Bay! Possibly the nicest restaurant in the Eastern Cape, Nina's regularly hosts all the big surfing competitors and most of their staff are Pro or active surfers. The food is outstanding!! Incredibly reasonably priced and Monday Curry Buffet nights are a must. If you are on holiday in 1 of the self catering units then please be sure to check the extensive range of home cooked meals in their freezers. They also cater for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Perhaps one of the most sublime and divinely located restaurants in South Africa. Even beachfront rest in Sardinia do not come close. The food is superb as is service and it's very much a romantic destination after a long walk on the beach..... Which is directly in front. Views are superb! It's a little pricier than the other places but very much recommended for a date night and with children and dogs allowed outside 😂 er I mean dogs allowed outside.

Sightseeing
This is one of the nicest and most secluded spots in J Bay and an ideal place to go for the day with doogies. Take care when swimming. No lifeguards and it's J Bay so waves can be quite fierce.

As someone who has lived in London, Paris environs and Milan never mind Cape Town and Johannesburg, please be advised that most crossings without traffic lights are 4 way stops. If you arrive first and no one is on your right at the exact same time you go otherwise you give way. Watch your speed in J Bay.
