As one of the most famed national Historic Landmarks, San Xavier Mission was founded as a Catholic mission by Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. Construction of the current church began in 1783 and was completed in 1797. Known as the White Dove of the Desert, San Xavier Mission is a stunning example of 18th-century architecture.
Mission San Xavier del Bac is open to the public every day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but if you happen to pop in during a service, remember to be respectful to the congregation. The museum is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the gift shop stays open until 5 p.m.

A absolute hidden gem. My personally favorite Italian family restaurant in town. It has great service, nice environment, and savory dishes.
I personally recommend mushrooms with garlic butter pasta, lamb oso bucco, carbonara, and fried mushrooms. Salads are great as well.

Driving is the best way to get around.
Don't rely on public transportation, driving is your best choice. Hertz or Enterprise could be a good solution.
If you're heading to other cities, greyhound bus or Amtrak could a nice option. Also, greyhound station and Amtrak station are very close from our Airbnb property.

There's a small parking lot near it for 15 min free parking.
