This is a Bird Sanctuary...There is a loop walking trail which takes you around the marsh. It takes about 30 min to walk the trail. No bikes allowed. Respect for nature is of utmost importance here.

Westwood lake is a community park with a small family orientated beach, a ramp to launch non motor watercraft, playground, and a 6km forested trail that circles the lake.
Take a small foot ferry from Maeffeo-Sutton Park for a few $, and arrive at Newcastle Island, a Provincial Park with a campsite and trails circling the island (takes about 2 hours). If you are lucky you may see one of( rare species) the white raccoons that inhabit the Island. There are regular raccoons too, lots of marine life but no bears or cougars and that's why the raccoon can thrive there.
