The apartment comprises an airy deluxe 400 sq ft bedroom with a separate entrance, spacious balcony, attached bathroom with hot water, kitchenette and living space, located in the quiet residential area off Park Road, Colombo 5, opposite the French International School.
The neighbourhood is very quiet with complete privacy. Neighbours can't peep into the apartment and you will not see anyone either.
The immediate neighborhood includes supermarkets, three reputed private hospitals, pharmacies, laundromats, bistros, restaurants including Thai, Chinese, Indian (vegetarian), Italian, Continental and Sri Lankan as well as a large shopping mall.
The premises is located opposite the French International School - École Française Internationale de Colombo - flanked by the bistro, Café La Défense, open from 7 am to 9 pm, daily.

The murals in the temple were painted in 1920-21. The murals have been described as "exuberant, theatrical recastings of the traditional subjects of Buddhist temple art, in a vivid realist style".
2 kilometers away is Independence Memorial Hall. It is a national monument in Sri Lanka built to commemorate independence of Sri Lanka from the British rule. Located at the head of the monument is the statue of the first Sri Lankan Prime Minister of the country Rt. Hon. Don Stephen Senanayake.
3 kilometers is the beach of the Indian Ocean.
4 kilometers away is the Colombo National Museum.
5 kilometers away is the beautiful Viharamahadevi Park. It's the oldest and largest public park in Colombo and located opposite the colonial-era Town Hall. The land extent of this park is 45 acres.

In addition to cabs, the local favourite is the three-wheel vehicle called 'tuk tuk'. These are convenient and fun vehicles but a bit bumpy. Ensure the vehicle has a meter, is in working order and the driver switches it on before you start the ride.
