This is literally just behind the condo and offers many trail options for a great hike or mountain biking. There's something for everyone - I like to take a hike up to see Lake Dillon, my kids like to check out the ponds and little streams and bridges. I love to go to the left on the dirt path before you get to the metal gate. There's so many different trails that I haven't had a chance to try them all!

Salt Lick Trailhead

Awesome views - a pond covered in lily pads and a large lake with a few patches and amazing views. Chipmunks run up to you at the large lake. You can easily take the free bus up to Wilderness Trail Head, hike to the lake and hike all the way back down. It's about 5.3 miles total & my 8 year old did it.

We have a pack n play but bring your own sheet. Also have a high chair, kid + baby utensils and outlet covers. Make sure to bring sunscreen and a stroller that can go on dirt paths if you have one.

Trails just outside the condo
The Salt Lick Trailhead is just to the right of the condo if you're looking out the front door. Follow the dirt road through the parking area and you'll see the very start. There are so many different trails to take, you'll never be bored! Also, look for the small path off Salt Lick that takes you back to the condo through the Aspen Grove.
