East Fork is a beautiful park with a large dammed lake that perfectly captures what I love about this area- Ohio’s natural beauty! There are trails galore, Little fishing ponds, and a big equestrian scene. Don’t miss the drive down Slade Road to the dam. Gorgeous scenery.

Spend Mound is an internationally known National Historic Landmark built by the ancient American Indian cultures of Ohio. It is an effigy mound (a mound in the shape of an animal) representing a snake with a curled tail. Nearby are three burial mounds—two created by the Adena culture (800 B.C.–A.D. 100), and one by the Fort Ancient culture (A.D. 1000–1650). https://www.ohiohistory.org/visit/museum-and-site-locator/serpent-mound

Don’t miss Washington Park, Music Hall, Findlay Market, 16-Bit Bar +Arcade, and The Eagle for their incredible southern chicken. Such a fun neighborhood, you won’t be bored, and it’s a quintessential Cincinnati experience!

Food scene

Skyline Chili is a local chain of authentic Cincinnati style chili. There are others, but these guys do it best in my opinion. If you’re new to Cincinnati, don’t miss trying it. The tradition started with Greek immigrants who came to Cincinnati. It is served many different ways, including on spaghetti, hot dogs, in burritos, or just a classic bowl. Don’t judge till you’ve sampled it!
