Several beaches around, each one unique experience. Private beach closest, walk to ferry. Then there is Manasota 7-10 mintes drive from the house, Englewood beach, Venice Pier, Casperson Beach, Venice Beach, Humphris Park and Jetty beach(95% chance of dolphin sighting), Siesta Key (#1 Beach in Fl, but not my fav, too commercial for me) , Shell Beach (very small but one of my fav)
Kids can play, hike a trail or ride a bike. There is also tennis courts. About 5-7 minutes from the house.

Great variety of vegetables, fruits, cheeses and bread. Very affordable. Pineapple peeling machine is very exciting to me. Kids love to see and do it.
