Local walks
From Newport there is several low/ moderate impact walks. Crown of Hill walk, headland walk to bilgola, walk to Newport wharf and Bungan headland walk. I have maps of the five main walks in the casita listing photos.

Lovatt Bay waterfall is one of the worthwhile walks. Wild walks.com has more maps and info. Take a morning ferry from Church Point to Lovatt Bay. Take water and snacks. Check the ferry timetable for return journey.
