Entertainment

North of the Resort, high up above Sunny Beach, you will find Khan’s tent. In our opinion, it is the best place in Sunny Beach for entertainment. Its architecture recalls the tents of the Bulgarian Khans. You start the night off with a 4 course meal, a bottle of wine per person ( Soft drinks for the children ) and a shot of the local brew called Rakia. During the meal, the live in house band play soft music. Once dinner has finished the real entertainment starts. A thrilling acrobatic show is full of surprises. Never fails to put a smile on your face. Once the acrobatic show has finished the band up the tempo and start playing sing-along hits from the '70s 80's and '90s. This is the time everyone hits the dancefloor to dance the night away. What more could you ask for

Sightseeing

Nesebar is an ancient city and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located in Burgas Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Nesebar Municipality. Often referred to as the "Pearl of the Black Sea", Nesebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than three millennia of ever-changing history. The small city exists in two parts separated by a narrow man-made cobbled streets with the ancient part of the settlement on the peninsula (previously an island), and the more modern section (i.e. hotels, later development) on the mainland side. The older part bears evidence of occupation by a variety of different civilisations over the course of its existence. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations and seaports on the Black Sea, in what has become a popular area with several large resorts—the largest, Sunny Beach, is situated immediately to the north of Nesebar. Nesebar has on several occasions found itself on the frontier of a threatened empire, and as such it is a town with a rich history. Due to the city's abundance of historic buildings, UNESCO came to include Nesebar in its list of World Heritage Sites in 198

Sozopol is an ancient seaside town located 35 km south of Burgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Today it is one of the major seaside resorts in the country, known for the Apollonia art and film festival (which takes place in early September) that is named after one of the town's ancient names. Legend dates Sozopol back to 610BC, when Greek settlers founded the city of 'Apollonia'. The town was named Sozopol, which means 'town of refuge' in the 4th century AD, probably because of its port - always known as a place of refuge for sea travellers. Situated on a small rocky peninsula on the southern Black Sea coast, south east of the bustling port of Bourgas. Today, Sozopol is a beautiful seaside town. Proud of its past and keeping its traditions very much alive - its fishing methods have not changed in centuries.

Based in Burgas and with over 600 acres, this park is a must visit. Walk around the area and take in the old communist statues, grab a coffee in one of the many coffee shops, visit the reptile and snake exhibit, go and see a shark at the aquarium, or just chill out on the beautiful beach that only locals know about. There is a long pier out to sea that you can walk along. With the clear blue sea, you can see many fish or get to the end of the pier and watch the local children diving into the sea. Much braver than us. Its a long way down!!!!!

Beaches

With golden sands and crystal clear blue seas, this is the perfect place to relax during the day and top up that tan. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a small charge per day. We would recommend not to buy anything from the people selling food and drink on the beach. It can make you ill. Our advice would be to bring your own food or hit one of the many restaurants on the beachfront to grab some lunch and a drink.

Consejos para la ciudad

Cómo moverse

Buses

Buses are cheap. You board the bus and pay the conductor who comes around. All bus signs are written in English so you know exactly where to go. Avoid taxies. They can be expensive and do tend to over charge tourists
Qué empacar

Bring comfortable clothing

With day time temperatures getting as high as 45c, you will need comfortable clothing. Cotton is great as it's loose and thin. Shoes or trainers that are easy on the feet are a must for those who wish to explore.
