The German Leather Museum was founded in 1917 by the architect Hugo Eberhardt in the once flourishing leather city of Offenbach am Main, originally as a collection of historical models for the training of young designers*, craftsmen* and leather goods producers*. To date, more than 30,000 objects from all cultures and epochs have been collected, divided into three collection areas - Applied Art, Ethnology and German Shoe Museum. Places to relax

Hafen 2 is a wild mixture of exhibition space, petting zoo, concert venue, café, art house cinema, recreation area, studio, center for refugees and house club. Often even more: theater, fashion, discussions, readings. There is no term from only one word that names it meaningfully. For the sake of simplicity we call it "cultural center". If there is still time for another title: "Interdisciplinary Platform".
