The beach here in front of the newly renovated is one of the best in Cyprus - it is pebbles and there are not many sunbeds so take your own umbrella but the water is fabulous

The port has a newly developed marina with restaurants and cafes it is small but worth a look. There are day trips offered out to Blue Lagoon in Akamas - many offer a local cooked lunch in the price and are a good family day out. The fish tavern Y & P is well-known and recommended though on weekends booking would likely be required

The port has a newly developed marina with restaurants and cafes it is small but worth a look. Just out the font door of the villa down to the right along pass the new houses is arguably one of the best walks in Cyprus. Walk out to a still largely undeveloped area with fabulous sunsets. You can continue down the coast if you like - picking your trail as you go it will take about an hour and a half to get to sea caves.

Walk out to a still largely undeveloped area with fabulous sunsets. You can continue down the coast if you like - picking your trail as you go it will take about an hour and a half to get to sea caves.
This is a fairly easy trail to start off with and interesting for children - in the spring and winter the rocks can get quite slippery so good footwear is recommended.

Not for the fainthearted it is a full days walk the first half of which is all uphill but the view over the Akamas is spectacular - I would not recommend it for summer tbh but worth a visit in spring or fall. You will need to take supplies of water etc with you and be aware that is is challenging - very steep rocky descent
