Such incredible food and covid friendly service with various dining and beverage options! (Indoor, outdoor, take out) Super fast and just absolutely delicious. Can't go wrong with anything you order! Must try the chicken tikka masala. Loved the portions and great for the price. Friendly service and happy to support a local business!

BEST bagels in the town. It's highly suggested that you order ahead of time and come in for pick up! The lines are usually really long here and for good reason. Their breakfast bagels are filling and delicious! Our favorite order is the Sun City with pastrami on an everything bagel.

This is one of our favorite Mexican places in the entire DMV. Great service, we've never had a single bad thing on the menu, plenty of vegetarian items, they make their own tortillas with heirloom corn, great cocktails, and more. They have a cute outdoor patio setup for dining during COVID that is open-air. You can make patio reservations on Yelp. In addition, they have some of the best quesabirria tacos we've had in the local area. Grass-fed sustainable beef, rich consomme, crispy exterior, with lots of cheese. Just delicious!!!

Union Market is the the food. The area is being revived as a hip destination for restaurant and night life near NoMa and H Street. While for many it is a specific building containing the gourmet food hall, it is in fact an area that today features restaurants, a small movie theater, an ice cream factory and new luxury apartment buildings in Northeast Washington, D.C. off of Florida Avenue NE.

Everything you heard via Yelp was probably true! This is my favorite Asian food in DC. There are a lot of different Asian cuisines in Washington, and with so many Thai places to choose from, this place has been a stand out spot.

The long, grassy National Mall is home to iconic monuments including the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. At the eastern end is the domed U.S. Capitol, and the White House is to the north. It's also flanked by Smithsonian museums, and its lawns and pathways are often crowded with school groups, joggers and softball teams. Nearby, the Tidal Basin reservoir is known for its blossoming cherry trees.

Sligo Creek Trail is a paved hiker-biker trail running along Sligo Creek in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. Most of the trail passes through tree-filled parkland. The trail and surrounding park is a popular place for locals to jog, walk, bicycle, roller-skate, and take their children to the playground.

Our favorite coffee shops

The thing I like most about La Coop is the service. Every time I've come the people are friendly and give great suggestions. It's also Latino and family owned, from the coffee farm in Guatemala to the shop here in DC! How awesome is that! La Coop provides great service and great Guatemalan coffee, check them out!

Neighborhoods

Welcome to North Michigan Park! This is "City-burb" living at its finest. When we say "City-burbs", we mean North Michigan Park that is located in the city proper but when you look out the front door and see an abundance of trees, blooming flowers, parks, and lots of green space. It gives you a suburban aesthetic. The location is quiet, with a quick 4-minute drive to a supermarket and 5-minute drive to nearby shopping center and restaurants. Brookland, Hyattsville, Columbia Heights, downtown DC and U-Street amenities are within 15-minute drive.
