Fishing, using playgrounds, hiking, watching sunsets, swimming at the beaches and picnicking are just a few things to do in the State Park! Check out www.indianlake.com for the Park Map featuring boating, beaches, kayaking and watersports, fishing, hunting, shelter houses, hiking trails, playgrounds and Naturalist Programs. Find the Trail Map for a lakeside stroll, hike or bike ride. Hunting Maps are found on the site as well. Enjoy!

Parque Estatal del Lago Indio

Fox Island beach is a favorite of our family since it was the first place at Indian Lake we ever went to. We picked up some sandwiches and brought them to this park, sat at a picnic table and watched families play in the water and admired the water view and scenery. This is one of our favorite places to go and have a bite to eat and be by the water! You can tie up your boat here at their docks and walk right into the air conditioned restaurant or sit outside on the deck! Great views and can be crowded at times! If you love cheese their homemade cheese sticks are the best and the pulled pork brisket platter they added this summer is amazing! The bands that play there are really good! Must go on weekends if you love live music! If you don't go by boat, it's still worth the 15 minute drive from our place. :)
