The Markets

The Pere Gerau Markets best days are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This is when the fruit and vegetable farmers come down to sell their freshly picked wares! Mercat Santa Catalina is an amazing, slightly high end market where you can find anything from flowers to caviar, is also home to a very special and long standing cafe/restaurant - Can Frau, local mallorquin food done very well... A must see... Mercat D'Olivar is a great market too, bigger than Santa Catalina, with a huge range of amazing fish, meat and vegetable stalls, aswell as a pretty extensive range of spices for flavour!
