Don't miss breakfast here. Often in the mornings, there's a fog in the valley that showcases the layers in the mountains - and Oakville Grocery is a great place to watch it dissipate. The croissant sandwich, breakfast burrito and quiche are luxurious. This is also a perfect spot to grab gifts to take home! TIP: Ask for their house-made salsa with breakfast.

Talk Like A Local

1. When talking about going North in the valley - say, to Calistoga - we locals say "up valley". This is a dead give away if you're from the area or not. 2. We call San Francisco "the city". Napa is a world renowned destination, but to us, it's still a small town. Say San Fran and we'll know you're just visiting.
