Amazing day trip! The ferry trip to Grand Manan is the perfect place for whale, porpoise and seal watching, particularly in August. The island can be driven tip to tip in about 30 mins, with several light houses and beaches along the way. Be sure to grab a Lobster Roll at Sunrise Seafood, definitely the best in the area. Check out few the few local shops before your ferry ride back. Ferry departs from Black Harbour. www.coastaltransport.ca

A truly Canadian company, it is always fun to see how the chocolates are made. And learn about the history of the Gagnon family. You will have the opportunity to watch Artisan Chocolatier’s at work. Where they still to this day produce finely hand-crafted chocolates. These hand-crafted chocolates are exclusive to the Ganong Chocolatier
