Just a short walk from my house. It's a nice walk along the canal and then BOOM, you're at the beach. I recommend walking all the way to Brighton baths. You can have lunch and drinks and walk on the pier. On the way back you will get a view of Melbourne's skyline with heaps of photo ops too. One of the best things to do in my area for sure.
