A quaint 10 min. ferry ride takes you to this beautiful marine provincial park with access to biking, hiking trails, beaches and hidden coves, ocean swimming, all over looking downtown Nanaimo. There is also camping there that can be booked through the BC Parks website as well as a restaurant serving pub grub and beer during the summertime.

Aside from an easily accessible waterfall close to downtown Bowen Park offers so much for nature lovers. From beautiful hikes, swimming pools, tennis courts, disc golf and volleyball all can be done here. It is one of Nanaimo's nicest parks.
