Incredible Argentinian & Italian food. Their empanadas are outstanding! They're very good about posting specials and pictures on Instagram. Make a reservation!

The only beachfront dining on the island! Check out their social media for special events. They often have lounge music or outside performers. The resort grounds are open to the public. You can access the restaurant from the beachfront walk or via the front lobby. Reservations recommended, but not always required. Bar serves a full menu too, plus some bar snacks.

TASTY and elegant, but not stuffy, but definitely a dress up event. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Tramici is their sister restaurant and very good too. They share a courtyard. Reservations recommended.

Super casual and fun environment and a screened in porch. Outdoor games in the courtyard like corn hole and Connect 4. Order at counter. Taco Tuesday is YUM, but all their daily specials are great!

The tuna "taco" appetizer can't be beat and their fries are hands down the best on the island! FYI you'll prob have more success with parking on Beach than on Mallery... and the library parking lot is open for parking in most spots too!

Sightseeing

A sneaky access point to the beach. Best to go during off season (Oct to May) as parking can be tight. There's a hose rinse off platform for your feet and equipment. A great place to launch kayaks and paddleboards to avoid the waves. You can paddle from here all the way to Sea Island! A 10-15 minute walk from here to East Beach. At low tide, you can walk out on a long peninsula into the ocean. Cool place to watch moonrise over ocean and sun set over island. Very quiet when compared to other beaches. Our favorite place to go. Go to East Beach roundabout and take last exit. Drive all the way down along salt marsh to 15th St. Take a right and follow it to the parking area.

Jekyll Island is an outstanding adventure, but The Club is 100% incredible! Read up on its history. You can access the main building and walk the halls reading about the important events that happened there like the establishment of the Federal Reserve and the first trans-Atlantic phone call! The grounds are best accessed via bikes in our opinion, and the island has 22 miles of scenic and safe bike paths! If you're on island for lunch, our favorite is grabbing friend shrimp from the Love Shack at the back of the Jekyll Island Market!

Lots of little up and coming boutiques and art shops to check out.

Shopping!

We have several pieces from this lovely, family owned company in our home - both stock and special ordered. We love color!! The staff is a hoot and the space is eclectic and fun. A very unique place to find a souvenir or a gift for a loved one.

Find the Tree Spirits!

There's a Facebook page for the Tree Spirit carvings (and there's one on the right on the big live oak tree as you drive away from our home too!) The visitors center has more info and one in their parking lot!

The King & Prince beachfront resort

The grounds along the beach are lovely. We often go park on site and walk down, sit in the swings and watch the waves, then wander in for a cocktail. The pool isn't open to non-guests, but you can sneak into the bathrooms off the lobby if you need to!

On weekends you may see signs for outdoor events near The Pier. It's a nice wander around under the live oak trees, and we have some amazing local artists!
