Small grocery store that carries necessary goods. It is one of the few grocery stores that are open on Sundays, and is open from 10-23 every day. The prices of "Sunday-open" stores are generally higher, and their selection is worse than normal grocery stores, and we recommend that you only use them if necessary.

Our favorite activity! A heated seawater pool in the lovely Nordnes area. There's a pool for relaxation (around 32 celsius), as well as a sauna, and a chance to swim in the cold sea. A very refreshing experience in surroundings, perfect way to spice up a lazy day.

Charming forest area with an inlake. One can take the "main trip" around the lake or spend the day exploring the many smaller paths that the area has to offer. Public transportation: From the "Olav Kyrres gate" stop (the bus stop next to the beginning of the airport rail), take Bus #4 (Hesjaholtet) and get off at "Skarphaugen". Approximate travel time is 50 minutes.
