We’ve always called it, “Goats on the Roof”. A super funky little shopping spot with one of the best ice cream spots on the island. We love spending the day exploring this area! About an hour’s drive south, there are some great hikes, beaches and restaurants in the Coombs/Qualicum/Parksville area!

Our local race track. Recently purchased by a local family and they’ve invested money into making it very nice. Super busy in the summer, so if you’re attending an event make sure you arrive early!

I frequent Abuelos at least once/week. They make the best chips, which you can also purchase at some other local grocery stores. Their flagship store is only a 3 min drive from the Airbnb. If you like authentic Mexican then I highly recommend this small, local store. They also make the best homemade refried beans that they sell frozen. You just have to ask for it as it’s not kept up front!

The Comox Valley and surrounding areas.
The Comox Valley and surrounding areas are very spread out and public transit isn’t ideal. I highly recommend renting a car if you’re wanting to get the most out of your trip and you’re flying in. There is so much to see and do, from rivers, hikes and lakes…..to the local ski hill and quant towns, there is a lot of adventuring to be had.
