Food scene

Kinoki is many things, including a cultural center, café, and private movie theatre, where you can have a whole theatre to yourself and your friends. But perhaps most importantly is the restaurant, which is a little difficult to find, although very easy to see from Andador Guadalupe. It has one of, if not the, best view of the entire city, 360 degrees while you can enjoy their pizzas, pastas, baked potato dishes, and more. An excellent place for a date, or to catch the sunset while relaxing with friends. Seating is pretty much first come first serve, so feel free to head straight up to the top floor and snag a table (or two)!

Free Walking Tour San Cristobal

Every day at 12pm and 5pm, there is a group from all around the world that gathers at the main plaza (specifically in front of the big wooden cross) to be led on a guided walking tour by one of the city's San Cristobal experts. This tour will teach you things about Chiapanecan culture, customs, religion, holidays, food. Even if you have been living here for weeks or months (or maybe even years!) if you have not done the tour, you really must! You WILL learn amazing things about the places that you walk by every day. At the end of the tour, you are treated to locally crafted Chiapanecan coffee!
