Come skate at The Wharf! Experience The Wharf Ice Rink—DC’s only over-water ice skating rink. Come to Transit Pier right outside The Anthem and lace up your skates—bring your own or rent some rink-side—to glide over the ice and enjoy amazing views of the water and monuments. While you’re here, treat yourself to some hot beverages and seasonal specialties at our nearby restaurants and shops. Regular Hours of Operation Monday-Tuesday: Closed Wednesdays in February: 4pm-6pm Skating, 7pm-10pm Curling Thursday-Friday: 4pm-10pm Saturday: 12pm-10pm Sunday: 12pm-8pm Special Hours of Operation February 16: The rink is closed to the public from 6pm-10pm for Curling & Cocktails. Preregister to join us! February 12: Rink closed until 4pm for Hungry Human Hippos special event (Tickets required, sign up here). Open for skating from 4pm-10pm. Admission Adult: $12 Youth (12 & Under): $9 Skate Rental: $6 Group Rate (10 or more) includes skate rental: $14 Active military, seniors, first responders, and healthcare workers can receive a $2 discount on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Must show a valid ID. Curling & Cocktails Looking for a fun way to spend some time outside this winter? Join us for a free, friendly game of curling every Wednesday evening through February 16! The Canadian game marries hockey and shuffleboard for a low-pressure evening on the ice—no skates needed! Want to play? Preregister for your desired gametime on Eventbrite. Games begin at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm every Wednesday in January. Date & Skate Throughout the month of February, guests who spend $25 or more at a restaurant at The Wharf can receive $2 off each regular priced adult admission at The Wharf Ice Rink on the same day.
