Approx 45 minute drive to this lovely little aquarium. It’s small but fun for small kiddos. You will see fish, crabs and an octopus! While in Sidney you can visit many good restaurants and walk the beautiful pier.

This little escape into the forest is steps away from our home. It has a little creek and serene surroundings: not suitable for a stroller as there are stairs.

It’s approximately a 2 minute drive from our home. A lovely playground with wings that overlook the ocean. Walk down below and their is a driftwood art display and a man made sandy area.. keep walking and you will make it to the beach!

When the tides out this beautiful beach is a staple for our family adventures. Filled with tide pools and sandy beach. You can access this beach by a hike down (approx 1km each way): where you will see lots of beautiful forest and a waterfall. Side note: not stroller friendly. Sometimes you may see seals and even whales.
