I actually haven't done this yet, but it's only a matter of time. I've heard good things about it and you can't get any more natural than this.

Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOViT, east)

It's more a drive than anything else. About 25 minutes from downtown Hot Springs, this dam joins the largest lake in Arkansas to Lake Hamilton. It's nice t be able to drive right on top of the dam. Not that big, but it's a nice easy-peasy place to visit if you want a little drive.
Blakely Mountain Dam
1113 Blakely Dam RdIt's more a drive than anything else. About 25 minutes from downtown Hot Springs, this dam joins the largest lake in Arkansas to Lake Hamilton. It's nice t be able to drive right on top of the dam. Not that big, but it's a nice easy-peasy place to visit if you want a little drive.
Beautiful trails around water and world class mountain biking trails. Close to downtown Hot Springs.

Sightseeing
I used to walk this path with my Grandmother and she used to walk it with my great grandmother. A charming stroll that's not too long or too steep. Tip: bring your favorite bag of tea and a cup to fill with the hot spring water. Enjoy!
