You can learn all about country of Belize right here - all the battles it fought, the Mayan culture, the colonial time etc. Open every day from 9-4. It is good to combine it with visit of Lighthouse, BELIZE sign and swing bridge listed below.

Old Anglican church nearby just as ancient Yarborough cemetery. Both represent history and culture in Belize. I suggest you make the visit after going to Museum of Belize to get familiar with some interesting facts about the country. Right infront of the church, by the sea there is a Government house that is an old colonial house with Victorian details, and pretty park with a view on the harbor of Belize City, you may ask security to let you in just to walk around the premises. Not too far from this location there is Supreme Court of Belize, white and green building with ancient staircase. Battlefield park infront of it has a big picture frame for you to take photos with the court in the background 😉

The place you want to go to is Travellers Liquors. Its a local Rum factory/ museum/ tasting and store. I think you will have fun going there, especially for it being affordable and accessiable.

Oh, truly fun place to go! A little bit outside the city, you will find beach, water slides, marina, food options, museum about Belize that you will visit on a small train, souvenir shop - all in one place! What once used to be a popular public beach, now looks like a place that needs maintenance: plastic bottles and bags are laying around the beach stuck in the mangrove roots, storms and hurricanes bring garbage and no-one picks it up here. But... if you are like me and for you glass is always half full rather than half empty, then you will admire the warmth of the water, beautiful mangroves and sunset views. Water is pretty shallow here so for a deep swim you got to get away from the shore. If you will go here using our bikes, there is a fence you could chain them to. Usually there will be noone there but you, and this is truly amazing. I couldnt find any pictures of the place online, so we went there to take some pics for the Guide, starring our youngest Allexia.

The largest paintball park in Belize located just 15-minutes outside of Belize City! For players ages 12 and up. Night life in Belize City
The place i would normally go to. Nice hookahs, and even food is really nice and consistent! Pizza is great! But a bit pricey compared to say Rustic corner or Shisha. They have various specials and theme nights all the time. See their social media to see what they are planning for the week.

Recently renovated, good place to party a bit in Belize City. I do not go here too much as it can get packed and busy, but usually its good place to dance. They specialize in Hookahs and Billiard tables to play.

What a lovely small island just off the coast of Belize City. About 30 mins on a boat and you are there! There are many charter boats that could take you there, or perhaps you can book a tour, that is sometimes is combined with some snorkeling not too far from the island. I found Splash Wave Tours company that takes tourists there, look them up! They offer day tours to Goff’s Caye for $45 USD per person without lunch and$55 USD per person - Lunch included. Tour includes: transportation, tour guide, gears, entrance to the site, and taxes.

1534 Constitution DrLocated a little over an hour drive on the breathtaking Hummingbird highway. My favorite drive! The entrance fee to the Blue Hole park is $10, same as any national park in Belize. You can swim in it, so get the stuff you need!
The Blue hole is great to combine with other sightseeing sights on the way, like local Zoo and St. Herman's cave! The cave is huge, deep and has some real interesting formations. To get to it you will go through a jungle about 10-15 minutes hike. You can go with a guide or on your own! Cave's National park entrance fee is also $10!

You can take amazing photos with them and pelicans. There is also another place very close to Iguanna Reef where you can feed fish that jumps out of the water! Super cool! The island is very small and typically one day visit is enough to tour everything in there! At 5pm the last boat will leave the island back to Belize City.

There are many little restaurants to go to (locals love Guava Limb restaurant soo so much). There is a an interesting Chocolate tour you can take, they tell you about Mayan culture and how exactly they discovered and make chocolate. You will be involved in chocolate making paste too!

Affordable Kayak experience on Belize river
If you want little exercise and fun experience, get our 2-person kayak for rent just under 20usd per use and go explore Belize river! The launch is right from Stylish apartments back yard. Canal is connected directly to the river. You might find various birds, manatees, and yes, crocs too. So do stay inside the kayak :) We go with kids, and so long that everyone is well behaved its safe and fun!
