Sightseeing

The nature reserve and village are famous for its seabird colonies, diving, history, scenery and being a renowned filming location for productions including the Avengers and Harry Style’s Adore You music video. There are three main trails along the cliff-tops and around the nature reserve – the Discovery Trail, the Extended Lighthouse Loop, and Mire Loch Loop – all offering spectacular views of the stunning Berwickshire coastline. Take a walk on the Extended Lighthouse Loop to see the 1862-built lighthouse which sits high on the cliff-top, a popular photography spot. Fun fact - the St Abbs Lighthouse was the first lighthouse in Scotland to have a foghorn which is now silent.
