This is a stunning lake to walk, run or cycle around. The climb up to the lake on a bike is challenging but well worth it! There are an array of cafes in the town of Guadalest and the descent back to Altea from the lake is amazing. Well worth the climb!

Absolutely stunning and accessible by car and bike. Well worth a visit, especially if you are in need of a dip off the bike before you descend back to La Casa. Make sure you check the opening times as it is weather dependent and may not be open until April or May through to October.

A challenging climb from Fleix or from Orba. Some of the climb tops out at 17% so not for the fainthearted. However, the descent to Castells is well worth the climb. Technical and steep in both directions so not for beginners but if you want a challenging climb, this is definitely a must.

One of THE best cycling bars/cafes in the area. Closed on Sundays and Mondays and busy the rest of the week but so worth a pit-stop - the patatas braves and chocolate pancakes are amazing...
