Maryhill Museum will blow your mind. You think it won't have much to offer due to it's location, but you will be presently surprised. I am not a huge museum connoisseur and found myself absolutely amazed and wanting to go back.

5 minute drive from the house. Another kitesurfing location. It's also one of my favorite beaches. There is bathrooms and picnic tables. You will find beachy locations hidden if you walk east from the main entrance to the river.
